Missing Starbuck
I was thinking a lot about Starbuck yesterday. He was the kind of cat who would let you hug him and bury your face in his fur and he’d let you. Even if he looked at you like he wanted to murder and eat you.

Met the newest member of the family today, Jay’s new horse Oliver!
This is my view. It must be the yearly day that Starbuck lays on me and purrs. This is the second time today.
Inspired by this post at mysteriouscats.com, I crocheted my first cat beanie last night. More of a coaster with ear holders than a hat, it was still funny to try it on the cats.
It isn’t Christmas without a cat under our tree. Starbuck haunts the area and is always sad when we put presents underneath.
I’ve been the cats’ beloved the last few weeks.
Jay brought home a kitten from the barn. He’s currently named “Baby Kitty”
