Stupid crappy yarn keeps breaking… After the third time I realized that it wouldn’t hold up to being played with, so I finished up what I could, took photos and threw it away. OK, that part hurt….

Oh well, at least the yarn was on clearance when I bought it and I wasn’t making this for anyone specific. Still, I hate to make something and then have to discard it. Maybe if I bind off where the head starts, the cat can use it to sleep on.

Ice day from school

We were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow overnight, looked out this window this morning and saw nothing. There’s a tab bit of white stuff on the driveway, but that’s about it.

I’ve been here long enough now that I know the kids will still be going to school.

Nope, ice day from school and I’m working from home.

So far, the kids are cooperating. Guess the Lemon Poppyseed muffins in the new oven are helping with that.

New stove installed yesterday

Being the “mean mom” that I am, they have to clean their rooms before I’ll let them on the computer or Wii. We’ll see how long that lasts. I’m predicting that Jesse will be spending all day in his room with the door closed reading Capt. Underpants and Ology books and Bailey will make a partial effort before getting distracted and playing all day.
