The yummy GF noodles mom makes me….

Homemade Noodles Recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cookbook
(1968 version)

Combine:    1 beaten egg,
                    1/2 teaspoon salt,
                    2 Tablespoons milk
Add:            1 CUP sifted all purpose flour or enough to make a stiff
dough.

Roll dough very thin on floured surface, let stand 2 minutes
Roll up loosely and slice 1/4 inch wide.  Unroll; spread out and let dry
for 2 hours.

Drop into boiling soup or boiling, salted water and cook uncovered about
10 minutes.
Makes 3 cups cooked noodles.

I use this recipe to make Turkey and dumplings (noodles).  I usually
double the recipe.  I mix the dough and go ahead and roll it out.  I cut
it into the noodles and go ahead and drop them into the Boiling salted
broth.  They make a soft dumpling when cooking them this way.

Traded in the 2 24″ monitors for 1 30″ Apple Cinema HD monitor. I lost some width and that’s a little strange, but I did gain some nice height for coding.

The best part though, it watching TV during lunch and knitting.
